Hockey Edmonton, its clubs, community organizations, and governing bodies are committed to ensuring a safe and positive experience for all our participants that is free of bullying, harassment, or maltreatment in any Hockey Edmonton program.

If you have a concern about your or your child’s experience in hockey or have witnessed something of concern the following avenues are available to you to share your concern:

Independent Third Party

If your concern is related to any of the following:

  • Sexual or physical violence

  • Distribution or sharing of child sexual images

  • Repeated instances of bullying or harassment that have caused significant impact or harm

  • Racism

  • Criminal charges or convictions

  • Other protection issues such as exploitation or trafficking

Please submit your concern using the form below.

Note: It is strongly recommended that when faced with these concerns to err on the side of caution and submit the concern through this process. Should a concern fall outside of the scope of the Independent Third Party’s role then it will be directed to Hockey Alberta to manage the concern.

Hockey Edmonton’s Respect the Game Program

If your concern is based on behaviours you have experienced or witnessed that may not align with Hockey Edmonton’s values of fun, respect, or positive development, and does fit within the maltreatment descriptions as outlined under the Independent Third Party process, you can submit your concern via the link below and it will be managed by the most appropriate body - either Hockey Edmonton or the respective league.

Hockey Edmonton’s Good of the Game Complaint Submission:

This form is to be utilized to report unacceptable behaviour occurring within any program of Hockey Edmonton or its organizations. An individual is considered to be displaying unacceptable behavior if they are verbally or physically harassing and/or abusing a participant (player, coach, spectator, or official). While the incident you are reporting will be investigated in as timely a manner as possible, resolution may take two (2) to four (4) weeks.
